Tim M. Murch, Chairman of the Buddy Fund, a local charity that provides sports equipment to underserved at-risk youth, announced Sam Norton has joined the Board of Operations.
Sam Norton is a Financial Planner with Synergy Wealth Solutions. Always fascinated by investments, he is driven by the desire to help others. His career in investments began in 2016, after completing a degree in Economics at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO. He thrives on the challenges of working in an ever-changing industry and building a business as a young professional. He enjoys playing golf, spending time with family, and supporting local restaurants. “I look for ways to give back and relish the opportunity to be active in my community” stated Sam. He has the pleasure of working with many charitable organizations, The Buddy Fund, the Economic Development Partnership, and the Chesterfield Regional Chamber of Commerce.
The Buddy Fund is a charity helping St. Louis area children without regard to race, ethnicity or religion. It was founded in 1962 by St. Louis Sportscaster Buddy Blattner to supply new sports equipment to other charities and organizations that used sports to help redirect and change the lives of at-risk underserved youth, including boys and girls clubs, police athletic leagues, homes for kids, community centers and after school programs.
